What if a bedtime story didn’t end when the book was closed, but instead became the start of a new story? Motherhood can be the inspiration to start writing, making up nursery rhymes and creating fairy-tale books for children. And if a mum decides to publish her idea, alongside the joy of creation, she’ll also face plenty of practical questions, uncertainties and obstacles. We spoke to Ivana Chlumáková and Leona Pospíšilová about why it’s worth not only reading stories to children, but also creating them for them.
